There is nothing more that warm our hearts than seeing people follow their Passion. We recently met Vanita, Owner of the Coco Company and her story truly made us feel happy. Earlier a teacher who retired to follow her passion for Baking, Vanita opened The Coco Company around two years back.
A quaint café done in minimal tones of brown, we are glad we found The Coco Company. As you enter, one cannot miss the beautiful looking desserts and chocolates displayed. A small four seater eatery but the place is not to be missed if looking for scrumptious food.
Conversing with the owner, we decided to try their fresh made to order sandwiches and their signature quiche. We chose Mushroom Quiche as our pick and it was a great choice indeed. Cheesy and just as a quiche should be. The chicken sandwich was not bad either.
Next we tried was their Pizzas and Pastas. They have a live Pizza and Pasta counter on the outside area where people enjoy their meals during winters. The Pesto Pasta was well made and was served with Garlic Bread. The Pizza was a thin crust pizza with cheese oozing out and topped with loads of veggies.
It was interesting to know how Vanita has learned to make all these delicacies on her own. We couldn’t stop ourselves from trying the desserts and picked our favourite, Red Velvet Cake. Truth to be told, it was one of the best red velvet cakes we have had in a very long time.
A development point which would improve the café would be the use of Cutlery instead of disposable plates when serving people for dining in.
All in all, it was great discovering the place.
