Molten Chocolate Cake ❤

Have it ever occurred to you while eating that oozy chocolate lava from Dominos that how is it prepared? It seems to be quite a tricky task to make it at first sight, right? What if I told you that it just takes 10 mins and 5 basic ingredients to make it? Yes, you heard it right.

Molten Chocolate cake has been my favorite to go recipe. It is one thing which can surely change my mood in a fraction of minutes. So, whenever I need to beat that sudden urge to eat something sweet, Molten Chocolate Cake it is to the rescue.

Well, although the recipe is so simple, but just make sure that you do not over bake the cake. The cake will taste awesome, but it won’t flow like lava. Also, make sure that the oven is preheated well just to be very sure that the cake is baked within the recommended baking time.



1 and a half Tbls Butter

80 grams bitter-sweet chocolate

2 Tbls sugar

1 Egg

1 Tbls Vanilla Essense

2 Tbls Flour

Method :

Melt the chocolate and butter and mix well until consistent.

Add Sugar, Egg, Vanilla Essence and whisk well.

Gently fold the above mixture with Flour. Make sure no lumps are made.

Pour the batter in buttered ramekin.

Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the sides are firm but the middle is still soft.



After removing from the oven, leave them in the ramekins to cool for at least 1 to 2 mins. This is to allow the cake to set a little, it may fall apart if you try to unmold it straight out of the oven.

Accompany with whipped cream or ice cream if desired.
